Date: June 6, 2023 3:00 P.M. Location: Emery County Administration Building 75 E Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah Emery County Board of Commissioners: Lynn Sitterud, Chairman Jordan Leonard Keven Jensen -Pledge of Allegiance/ Invocation- (Note to the public: The consent agenda consists of item(s) that are considered to be routine in nature and will be enacted in the form of one motion. Any items can be removed from the consent agenda and heard in its regular order at the request of any commissioner.) CONSENT AGENDA Items to be pulled for discussion by the Board will be placed first on the list of discussion items. All other consent agenda items will be approved in one motion. Approval of check edit list, requisitions, and dispositions. Approval of the May 16, 2023 Commission Meeting Minutes. NOTIFICATION Selected Adam Olsen, Madilyn Bunnell, Jacob Erickson, Kaitlyn Thomas, Aliya Lester, Jace Frandsen, Elizabeth Carroll, and Hannah Neff as part time lifeguards working up to 19.75 hours per week. Wage Grade 3. NOTIFICATION Selected Sarah Sorensen as a part time Justice Court Complex custodian working up to 19.75 hours per week, not eligible for benefits. Wage Grade 6. Approval to hire Garrett Rowley as a Seasonal Lawn Care laborer working 29 hours per week. Not eligible for benefits. Wage $14.70 ph. NOTIFICATION Selected Emelyn Oliverson as a part time Head Lifeguard working 19.75 hours per week. Grade 5 @ $10.21 ph Discussion Items Items that require discussion before approval by motion. Items pulled from the consent agenda. Discuss/Approve/Deny monetary donation to Chase Huggard to attend the Governor's Honors Academy. Discuss/Approve/Deny monetary donation to Kams Rich and Wyatt Fox who will be representing Emery County at the National Jr High School Rodeo Finals. Discuss/Approve/Deny Four Corners Community Behavioral Health Area Plan for FY2024-2026. Discuss/Approve/Deny the 2023 CIB Prioritization List for Emery County. Discuss/Approve/Deny Free Swim Day activity on July 25th as part of the Emery County Fair 2023. Discuss/Approve/Deny Amendment #8 to the State of Utah Contract #152013 between the State of Utah and the Emery County Sheriff or bailiff and court security services. Discuss/Approve/Deny 2023 real and personal property tax exemption for Castle Ridge Behavioral Center. Discuss/Approve/Deny Service Line Agreement with Dominion Energy for the Emery County Road Department Green River Facility. Discuss/Approve/Deny signing a Letter of Agency with Utah Education and Telehealth Network (UETN) to Authorize UETN to include Emery County Library System in the 2024-2025 Bid Process for Internet Services under E-rate. Discuss/Approve/Deny advertising an RFQ for an individual or firm to ensure the Emery County Community Reinvestment Agency (CRA) is following all state and federal mandates and laws in relation to all fiduciary obligations regarding solar funds. Commission/Elected Officials Reports. Adjourn. Any other business which may regularly come before The Board.
