- WALES TOWN COUNCIL Notice and Agenda Notice is hereby given that the Wales Town Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Wales Town Hall, which meeting shall begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Agenda items may or may not be discussed in the order they are listed. The agenda shall be as follows: Rollcall Pledge of Allegiance Prayer/Inspirational Thought Approval of minutes for work meeting of March 29, 2023. Approval of minutes for meeting held on April 4, 2023. Approval of minutes for work meeting of April 20, 2023. Approval for payment of April 2023 invoices Business & Petitions (items to be voted upon) 1. Tammy Bowers-Water overage relief due to leak 2. Sanpete Solar-presentation 3. Denise Seda-Emergency Prep info/Budget request Reports of town officers and boards Mayor Byron Davis: 1. $12,087.20 left from south well USDA grant-town can use at well site or spring site in $5000 increments 2. Water fee discussion at special meeting May 18 3. Discussion of budget-fees for town services, mill levy 4. Cleanup plans for streets, park, cemetery Water--Council member Brandon Rees 1. 10 new water meters are here-to be installed asap Roads--Council member David Larsen 1. street maintenance plan Cemetery--Council member Ron Thompson 1. Update grave list on cemetery bulletin board Parks--Council member Edward Anderson Fire Dept.--Shawn Robison Administration--Kevin Washburn, Erika Anderson 1. Election service agreement with Sanpete County has been signed and e-mailed to county. 2. Annual report of ARPA funds usage has been sent to US Treasury. 3. Changing to one credit union account-recommended by CPA 4. Welsh Days is scheduled for June 23 & 24. Erika Anderson is chairperson. 5. Animal clinic with Gunnison Valley Animal Clinic is scheduled for July 8, 2023 10:00am to noon. Adjourn: Mayor: Byron L. Davis I, Kevin E.
