- PARK CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION Park City School District Office 2700 Kearns Boulevard May 23, 2023 Regular Session 3:00 p.m. Additional information is available the Monday before each meeting at: http://www.boarddocs.com/ut/pcsd/Board.nsf/public Time allocated to each agenda item is approximate and subject to change. The Board may vote to meet in closed session for any of the purposes set forth in Section 52-4-205 of Utah's Open and Public Meetings Act Board members may be participating by telephone. AGENDA 1 Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance 2 Closed Session The Board will convene in a Closed Session for the purpose of: A strategy session to discuss collective bargaining 3 Consent Agenda Regular Session Minutes of April 18, 2023 Closed Session Minutes of April 18, 2023 Special Session Minutes of May 4, 2023 Account payable registers of: April 11, April 19, April 21, April 25, April 26, April 27, May 2, May 3, May 4, May 5, May 8, and May 15, 2023 Sex Education and Maturation Instruction. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1XeUhZBN2CjtoAE3LFPq_53rGfMGxbMwc?usp=sharing Travel Requests MPES Land Trust Amendment Licensed Compensation Agreement/Classified Compensation Agreement Classified Professional Agreement/Classified Professional Agreement Personnel Information April Revenues and Expenditures 4 Retiree Recognitions The Board will recognize this year's retirees. 5 Conservation/Sustainability Update The committee has been working on ways to conserve energy throughout the District and the will now present their findings to the Board. 6 Monthly Reports Employee Group Reports COO Report Superintendent Report Dr. Gildea will present her monthly report focusing on excellent personnel and introduce the Inspiring and Supporting Committee who will provide an overview of their work. 7 Discussion 7.1 Budget Update Business Administrator, Randy Upton, will provide the Board with a budget overview. 8 Policies for Posting The following policies are before the Board for review and posting. Policy 1006 Education Equity (New) 9 Policies for Adoption The following policies have been posted for the required 20 days and are now before the Board of adoption. Policy 10021 Dropout Prevention and Recovery Program 10 Public Comment (5:00 PM) The Board of Education wants to hear live input from community members at our meetings. In order to respect and preserve the time allotted to each presenter on the agenda, each speaker will be limited to three (3) minutes. Speakers representing a group will be limited to five (5) minutes. 11 Adjourn Notice: This meeting will be recorded (video and audio) and made available for one year on the district website (www.pcschools.us). In compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Lorie Pearce at 435-615-0225, at least three working days prior to the meeting.
