- NOTICE OF COMBINED PUBLIC HEARING & PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FIRST PUBLIC HEARING FOR PY 2027 CDBG ANNUAL ACTION PLANS CITY OF OREM & CITY OF LEHI NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Orem and the City of Lehi will hold a joint public hearing for the Program Year 2027 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding cycle. The purpose of this hearing is to solicit public input on community development and housing needs in both jurisdictions. The City of Orem and the City of Lehi are recipients of federal grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the CDBG program. These funds support a wide range of local activities that benefit low- and moderate-income persons. Public input is sought to identify critical community needs and prioritize potential projects for PY 2027. HEARING DETAILS: Date: Wednesday, October 21, 2026 Time: 2:00 PM Location: 586 E 800 N, Orem, UT 84097 Virtual Participation Link: https://meet.google.com/orm-kyyy-wpf | Dial-in: +1 470-207-8062 PIN: 953 089 157 # PURPOSE OF THE HEARING: The public hearing provides an opportunity for citizens to: Learn about the CDBG program objectives and eligible funding activities. Discuss and identify community-wide housing and development needs. Provide input and project ideas for the upcoming PY 2027 CDBG funding cycle. Review expected CDBG funding allocations for each community. Discuss CDBG national objectives, including low- and moderate-income benefit requirements. ACCESSIBILITY AND ACCOMMODATIONS: The hearing location is accessible to individuals with disabilities. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary aids and services) to participate should contact Claudia Saldana at 801-229-3800 at least 2 business days prior to the hearing.
