- NOTICE OF VACANCY LOGAN-CACHE AIRPORT AUTHORITY BOARD Seeking interested and qualified individuals to serve on the Logan-Cache Airport Authority Board. This is a reconstitution of the Airport Authority Board to comply with State statute and Amendment No. 1 to the Logan-Cache Airport Authority Interlocal Agreement. As per the agreement, the Airport Authority Sponsor Board serves as the appointing authority and will be filling six (6) positions on the Logan-Cache Airport Authority Board. QUALIFICATIONS: - Applicants must be registered voters residing within Cache County. - In compliance with the Interlocal agreement, preference will be given to individuals with expertise in aviation, finance, business management, law, engineering, or economic development. - The term for each appointed member of the Airport Authority Board shall be four (4) years. (Note: Initial terms will be staggered) HOW TO APPLY: Individuals interested in serving should complete the online application available on the Cache County website at: - https://www.cachecounty.gov/airport/ Click the blue 'Airport Authority Board Application' button at the top of the page - Applicants should also submit a resume by email to Janeen Allen in the Cache County Executive office at: Janeen.allen@cachecounty.gov - Application Deadline: Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 5:00 pm PUBLIC HEARING, REVIEW AND APPOINTMENT: Pursuant to Utah Code ยง17B-1-304, the Logan-Cache Airport Authority Sponsor Board will hold a public hearing and review of the applicants as follows: - Public Hearing: The Logan-Cache Airport Authority Sponsor Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. during its regularly scheduled meeting to consider candidates and receive public input regarding the district vacancies. - Review & Appointment: Following the close of the public hearing and review of submitted applications, appointments will be considered in accordance with state statutory requirements and the Logan-Cache Airport Authority Interlocal Agreement during that meeting or at a subsequent publicly noticed meeting.
