- CITY OF MOAB PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE DRAFT CITY OF MOAB ORDINANCE 2026-21, AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN UPDATED ANNEXATION POLICY PLAN, FUTURE ANNEXATION BOUNDARY MAP, AND THE ANTICIPATED LAND USE OF FUTURE ANNEXATION AREA MAP, AS APPENDIX C OF THE CITY OF MOAB GENERAL PLAN. The City of Moab Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on October 22th, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Moab City Offices at 217 East Center Street, Moab, Utah. The purpose of this meeting is to solicit comment from affected entities and the public on the Proposed City Ordinance 2026-21, An Ordinance Adopting An Updated Annexation Policy Plan, Future Annexation Boundary Map, And The Anticipated Land Use of Future Annexation Area Map, As Appendix C of The City of Moab General Plan. The public is invited to review and inspect all information available concerning such proposal(s) at the Moab City Offices during regular office hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday up until October 22th, 2026. The public or any interested parties may present written or oral testimony to the Moab City Planning Department concerning the proposed action at the aforementioned time and place. Affected Entities are invited to present or submit written or oral comments on the proposed annexation policy plan at the meeting and for 10 days following the meeting. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations during this meeting should notify the Recorder's Office at 217 East Center Street, Moab, Utah 84532; or phone (435) 259-5121 at least three (3) working days prior to the meeting.
