- BEAVER CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2026, 5:00 PM BEAVER CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS - 30 W. 300 N., BEAVER, UT 84713 Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Beaver, Utah, will hold its regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2026. The Council will meet in the Council Chambers located at 30 W 300 N Beaver, Utah. This is a public meeting, and everyone is invited to attend. COUNCIL MEETING: 1.Welcome and Call to Order: Mayor Matt Robinson 2.Opening: City Council Member David Albrecht 3.Declaration of Conflicts with or Personal Interest in Any Agenda Items 4. Public Comment PUBLIC: 5. 4-H Club 6. Amy Wayment -Flood and Fire 7. Business Relief Fundraiser CONSENT AGENDA: 8. Approval of Regular City Council Meeting Minutes July 14, 2026, and Emergency City Council Meeting Minutes July 20, 2026 9. Approval of bills for July 14, 2026, to August 10, 2026 ACTION AGENDA: 10. Underground River Crossing Funding Approval WORK AGENDA: 11. Secondary Water Strategy Discussion 12. County General Plan Discussion (Kevin Smedley) 13. Fee Schedule Change 14. Marathon Discussion 15. Waterway Discussion 16. Storage Containers vs. Accessory Units 17. Reports, Updates, Old Business Follow Up: Elected Officials and Staff 18. CLOSED SESSION: The Beaver City Council may consider a motion to move into a closed session for specific purposes allowed under the Open and Public Meetings Act (Utah Code ยง 52-4-205), including discussions of the character, professional competence, or physical/mental health of an individual; strategy sessions to discuss collective bargaining; strategy sessions to discuss pending or imminent litigation; strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, lease, or sale of real property, including any form of a water right or water share; discussions regarding deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems; and for attorney-client communications (Utah Code section 78B-1-137); or any other lawful purpose 19. ACTION: Any action to be taken because of or arising from discussions had in the closed session. 20. ADJOURNMENT: CERTIFICATE OF POSTING/DELIVERY: The undersigned duly appointed City Recorder does hereby certify that the above Notice of Agenda was posted on this 10th day of August 2026, 24 hours in advance of the meeting. A copy of the foregoing notice of agenda was posted on the Public Meeting Notice Website at http://pmn.utah.gov, posted on the Beaver City website http://www.beavercityut.gov/ and posted at the Beaver City Center.
