- NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING and PUBLIC HEARING SOLID WASTE SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT #1 DBA Canyonlands Solid Waste Authority Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 4:30 P.M. Administrative Office, 2295 S Highway 191, Moab, UT 84532 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Consistent with provisions of the Utah Open and Public Meetings Act, Utah Code Ann. §54-2-207(4), the Administrative Control Board of the Solid Waste District has decided to hold hybrid meetings with the new administrative building as the Anchor Location. The new administrative building is located at 2295 S. Highway 191, (gray building behind the gate on the right) Moab, UT 84532. Electronic participation is available via Zoom Meeting at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87520451866?pwd=BM67iB7Z9Tb7bez95arSqr3VDLT6QW.1 Use Meeting ID: 875 2045 1866 Passcode: 674791 The public is invited and encouraged to view this meeting, which will be streamed live on the District's YouTube channel, which may be found on YouTube @canyonlandssolidwasteauthority. Adjournment *Public comments for the meeting record can be received in one of three ways. Please email swssd1@swssd1ut.gov with the subject line 'SWSSD1 Public Comment' by 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, if you would like your comments to be heard as part of the Regular Meeting. Written comments are limited to 400 words. Alternatively, members of the public may provide verbal comment in one of two ways: attend the meeting in person at 2295 South Highway 191, Moab, UT 84532 or virtually via the Zoom weblink. Citizens may provide comment during the Citizen's Input section. Comments are limited to a duration of three (3) minutes in length. Those with a special needs request wishing to attend this meeting are encouraged to contact the District three (3) days in advance of these events. Specific accommodations necessary to allow participation of disabled persons will be provided to the maximum extent possible. Requests, or any questions or comments can be communicated to 435-259-6314.
