- PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Town Council of Fairfield, Utah, will hold a Regular Session Meeting on September 9, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. at the Fairfield Town Office, located at 121 West Main Street, Fairfield, Utah. CALL TO ORDER Roll Call Prayer / Pledge of Allegiance REPORTS AND DISCUSSION Sheriff's Department Update Planning Commission Update Mayor's Report GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT Comments may be made on any matter not on the agenda and not related to a pending land use application. Comments are limited to two minutes per person, with a total public comment period of 14 minutes. CONSENT ITEMS The Council may approve the following items without discussion or public comment. Any Council member may request that an item be removed from the Consent Items for separate discussion and consideration. Approval of Minutes - August 12, 2026 Approval of Financials - July 31, 2026 BUSINESS ITEMS The Council will discuss the following items and may take action as indicated. Public comment will not be taken unless otherwise noted. Ordinance No. 2026-10 - Conditional Use Permit Procedures and Standards Staff Review, presentation, and discussion of the proposed Amending Fairfield Code §§154.180 through 154.188, Relating to Conditional Use Permit Procedures and Standards. Discussion and consideration of Ordinance No. 2026-10, amending Fairfield Code §§ 154.180 through 154.188 relating to Conditional Use Permit procedures and standards. Consider adoption of Ordinance No. 2026-10. CLOSED SESSION Consider a motion to enter into a closed session, if needed, for one or more purposes permitted by Utah law, including discussion regarding the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property; pending or reasonably imminent litigation; the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; or the deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems.
