- CITY COUNCIL AGENDA Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 6:00 PM Truth in Taxation 1020 E. Pioneer Rd. Draper, Utah 84020 City Council Chambers 1. Call to Order 2. Public Hearing: Proposed Property Tax Rate Increase Public comments will be limited to three minutes per person. Comments which cannot be made within three minutes should be submitted in writing to the city recorder at recorder@draperutah.gov. For more information visit: http://www.draperutah.gov/city-government/budgets-and-finances/property-tax/ 2.a Public Hearing: Proposed Property Tax Rate Increase - Salt Lake County This hearing is an opportunity for residents living in Draper City, Salt Lake County to provide public comment on the proposed property tax rate increase. No action will be taken on this item. 2.b Public Hearing: Proposed Property Tax Rate Increase - Utah County This hearing is an opportunity for residents living in Draper City, Utah County to provide public comment on the proposed property tax rate increase. No action will be taken on this item. 3. Adjournment I, the City Recorder of Draper City, certify that copies of this agenda for the Draper City Council meeting to be held August 12, 2026, were posted at Draper City Hall, Draper City website www.draperutah.gov, and the Utah Public Notice website at www.utah.gov/pmn. Public comments before the public meeting should be emailed to: recorder@draperutah.gov. Public comments virtually during the meeting shall be handled as follows: -When the Mayor opens the public hearing, click 'raise hand' to request an opportunity to speak. -When it is your turn to speak, your hand will be lowered by the meeting host. -Select 'unmute' when prompted. -Once unmuted, staff will confirm they can hear you. Please state your name and address for the public record. -Public comments are limited to three minutes and begin once you state your name and address. -When your comment has been concluded, or your three minute time has expired, you will be muted and returned to attendee mode for the remainder of the meeting. -Only comments directly related to the Truth in Taxation Public Hearings will be accepted during this meeting.
