- PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Hildale City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 05, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at 320 East Newel Avenue, Hildale City, Utah 84784, to receive public comment regarding a proposed tax increase. The HILDALE CITY tax on a $453,000 residence would increase from $267.09 to $715.56, which is $448.47 per year. The HILDALE CITY tax on a $453,000 business would increase from $485.62 to $1,301.02, which is $815.40 per year. If the proposed budget is approved, HILDALE CITY would receive an additional $210,219 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, HILDALE CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 167.79% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. The HILDALE CITY invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or virtually. Council members may be participating electronically by video or telephone conference. Members of the public may watch the live stream through the scheduled Zoom meeting. No action will be taken during the Public Hearing.
