- TOWN OF STERLING COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE STERLING TOWN COUNCIL WILL HOLD ITS REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING ON TUESDAY MAY 19 2026 AT 7:00 PM AT THE STERLING TOWN COMMUNITY CENTER, 75 N 100 W, STERLING, UT. Items on the agenda (which require no published notice of time) may be considered earlier than shown. Agenda shall be as follows: Welcome by Mayor Zeb Wignall, Pledge of Allegiance and Roll Call. 1. Public Comments a. Discussions/Concerns brought up by community members or council not to be voted on. 2. Discussion and Action Items a. Discussion and Vote on hiring the new clerk/recorder b. Scott Johnson- update on culinary water system and request for a plan on temporary coverage during Jim Egnar's absence including duties and compensation. b. Continued discussion and Vote on Adopting an ordinance regulating Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) c. Continued discussion and Vote on adopting an ordinance regulating Short Term Rentals (STRs). d. Discussion and Vote on FY27 Tentative Budget e. Discussion and Vote on FY27 Road Maintenance Project f. Discussion and possible Vote on additional Planning Commission Member 3. Council Business a.
