- PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of SUCCESS Academy will hold an online meeting on the Google Meet platform. The online address for this meeting is SUCCESS Academy Board meet.google.com/ugb-metv-bce Please call 435-879-4629 for assistance logging in if needed. The meeting will commence at 5:00pm on Monday, June 22, 2026. The agenda for this meeting consists of the following: Conducting: Jodi Porter A. Approval of minutes a. Minutes of April 13, 2026 b. Minutes of April 20, 2026 B. Public Input C. Information and Action Items a. Consent Agenda Items (Colin) i. Employment - Principal Position UTU - Derek Schweitzer ii. School Calendars - ICSD & WCSD iii. Board meeting schedule for 2026-2027 iv. Teacher on Special Assignment - New Position b. How well are school finances being managed and safeguarded from risk? i. Presentation and Approval of Final FY26 Budget and Revenue Expenditure (Colin) ii. Presentation and Approval of Proposed 2026-2027 Budget iii. FY26 Year to Date Budget Update c. How well is the school meeting federal, state and USBE laws and regulations? i. SPED Audit - (Bryce - GYST Compliance & Investigation LLC) ii. School Fees (Colin) 1. Concurrent Enrollment fees 2. Audit (Colin) 3. Proposed High School Fee Schedule for 2026-2027 school year a. UTU Campus b. SUU Campus iii. School counseling approval and data projects (school counselors) 1. UTU SUCCESS 2. SUU SUCCESS d. We need to have a second meeting to approve the 26-27 proposed budget and fees before the end of the fiscal year and anything else we need to discuss. (needs board approval for June 29, 2026) D. Executive Session (Motion to enter into executive session to discuss the character or competence of personnel employed by SUCCESS Academy) *This meeting is being held at SUU SUCCESS as well as Google meet. E. Reconvene to Open Session F. Possible Action from Closed Session G. Adjournment Next board meeting will be June 29, 2026, 5pm at SUU Multipurpose Room 205, Cedar City Utah. This meeting will also be broadcast to the UTU SUCCESS Atwood Innovations Plaza conference room.
