- KAMAS CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA TUESDAY JUNE 9, 2026 6:00 P.M. Kamas City Hall 170 N. Call to Order Invocation: Mayor Matt McCormick Pledge of Allegiance 2. Approval of the May 26, 2026 City Council Meeting Minutes 3. Approval of the Invoice Register dated June 8, 2026 4. Public Comment - This is the public's opportunity to briefly comment on items not on the agenda 5. Public Hearing to receive comment for an Ordinance adopting and setting compensation for Kamas City officers. 6. Possible Ordinance, An Ordinance amending the compensation for Kamas City Officers and Elected Officials 7. Public Hearing to receive public comment on the amended budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year and the tentative budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year 8. Possible Resolution, A Resolution adopting the 2026 final tax rate for Kamas City 9. Possible Resolution, City Council to adopt the amended budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026 and the proposed tentative budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027 as final by Resolution. A Resolution (1) Amending the Budgets of the City of Kamas for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026; (2) Adopting a Budget for the City of Kamas for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027; and (3) Authorizing and Directing the participation of the City in the Public Employees Non-Contributory Retirement System and the Public Safety Non-Contributory Retirement System of the Utah Retirement Systems for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 10. Possible Ordinance, An Ordinance to adopt Title 1, Municipal Government, in the Kamas Municipal Code 11. Fraud Risk Assessment 12. Department Reports 13. Adjournment
