Thank you. AGENDA 9:00 A.M. OPENING, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, APPROVE MINUTES, APPROVE WARRANTS, DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS, (Clerk, COA, Emergency Management, Fleet, Human Resource, and Commission) ETC. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT FROM: MAY 11, 2026 TO MAY 25, 2026 10:00 A.M. PUBLIC APPOINTMENTS 1. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Three (3) Minute Time Limit per Speaker for Public Comment Participants. No Attacks on Other Peoples' Character. 2. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE APPROVAL OF POTENTIAL EXTENSION OF THE EXISTING BRIAN HEAD COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AREA (CRA). Presented by Bret Howser. 3. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE APPROVAL OF the 2026 IRON COUNTY FEE SCHEDULE. Presented by Lucas Little. 4. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE APPROVAL OF IRON COUNTY ORDINANCE 2026-12 AMENDING TITLE 8, CHAPTER 8.20, SECTION 8.20.060 OF THE IRON COUNTY CODE RELATING TO NUISANCES; AMENDING DEFINITIONS TO INCLUDE DYNAMIC BRAKING DEVICES; AMENDING PROVISIONS RELATING TO DYNAMIC BRAKING DEVICES ON VEHICLES AND DESIGNATING RESTRICTED AREAS. 5. ORDINANCE 2026-13, ADOPTING A TEMPORARY LAND USE REGULATION PROHIBITING THE ACCEPTANCE OR PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS FOR DATA CENTERS, DATA CENTER POWER PLANTS, AND SOLAR POWER PLANTS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY (180) DAYS. 6. PERSONNEL 1. SHERIFF'S OFFICE - CORRECTIONS/PATROL A. Request for approval of new hire, Jerry Garcia, as a F/T Deputy 1, backfill of a vacant position, effective May 24, 2026. B. Request for approval of new hire, Brayden Robinson, as a F/T Deputy 1, backfill of a vacant position, effective May 24, 2026. C. Request for approval of promotion for Braxton Wilson from a Deputy 1 to a Deputy 2, effective May 24, 2026. D. Request for approval of promotion for Dream Weaver from a Deputy 1 to a Deputy 2, effective June 7, 2026. E. Request for approval of promotion for Peter Merril from a Deputy 1 to a Deputy 2, effective May 24, 2026. F. Request for approval of Bilingual pay for Kaitlyn Lacey, effective May 24, 2026. 2. PARKS AND RECREATION A. Request for approval of new hire, Kein Hicken, as a P/T Seasonal Outdoor Maintenance Technician, backfill of a vacant position, effective May 25, 2026. 3. URS CONTRIBUTION RATES A. Presentation and possible approval of Tier 2 Public Safety Employee portion pickup, effective date July 1, 2026. B. Request to update section 21 of Iron County Personnel Policies and Procedures to reflect 2026-2027 changes to URS contributions. NON-DELEGATED ITEMS 1. County Boards 2.
