- Toquerville City NOTICE OF 2023 MUNICIPAL ELECTION Public notice is hereby given to inform residents to Toquerville City that there will be a municipal primary election on August 15, 2023 for the following offices: Mayor (2-year term) Two City Council positions (two-year term) Two City Council positions (four-year term) The constitutional and statutory qualification requirements for municipal office are: 1. An individual elected to municipal office shall be a registered voter in the municipality. 2. An individual has resided within the municipality for the 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election. 3. An individual shall maintain a principal place of residence within the municipality during the officer's term of office. 4. Shall comply with the requirements described in Utah Code Section 10-3-301 and 20A-9-203. Interested parties may declare their candidacy for an office in person between June 1, 2023, through June 7, 2023, at City Hall with the City Recorder located at 212 N. Toquer Blvd, during posted open office hours and closing promptly at 5:00 p.m. on June 7th).
