- The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting April 14, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah. Call to Order-Mayor 1. Opening Ceremony- By Invitation Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer- Recognition of Lynn Olson - Presented by Jeff McDonald 2. Roll Call - City Recorder 3. Miss Mt. Pleasant a. Miss Mt. Pleasant Year-End Review b. Introduction / Meet the Contestants for the 2026 Miss Mt. Pleasant Program 4. Consent Agenda - Mayor Claims Register: Dated 03/21/2026 to 04/10/2026 in the amount of $455,347.71 Approval of Minutes: March 24, 2026, Regular City Council Minutes March 24, 2026, Work Session Minutes March 24, 2026, Public Hearing Minutes 5. Public Comment Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door prior to the start of the meeting. Participation is limited to three minutes. Each participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 6. Business/Action Items (Discussion and Possible Action): a. Purchases & Requisitions i. Ratification of Emergency Requisitions (if any) b. Approval of Gavin Christensen to attend out-of-state hotline training school in Mesa, Arizona - Power Department Shane Ward c. Repass Resolution #2026-03 A Resolution Authorizing and Approving the Amended and Restated Power Pooling Agreement with the Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems for the Pool Project; Authorizing Execution and Delivery Thereof; and Related Matters With the following amendments: 'The City Council may appoint by resolution. The Mayor is hereby authorized to designate a Participant's Representative to UAMPS and, at his discretion, may appoint one or more alternate representatives.' Updating resolution numbering from 2026-04 to 2026-03 d. Repass Resolution 2026-04 A Resolution Adopting Recreation Center Rental Fees for Mt. Pleasant City With the following amendments: Clarifying that 'Long-term' is defined as more than 12 uses per year Updating resolution numbering from 2026-05 to 2026-04 7. Discussion/Possible Action Items: a. Discussion and possible approval of Paperless Billing- Debbie James b. Discussion: County Dispatch and 911 Services- Mayor Olsen 8. Reports Council Reports Staff Reports Mayor Report 9. Closed Session (if necessary) 10.
