- TOWN OF STERLING COUNCIL MEETING 75 N 100 W STERLING, UT 84665 AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE STERLING TOWN COUNCIL WILL HOLD ITS REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING ON TUESDAY APRIL 21 2026 AT 7:00 PM AT THE STERLING TOWN COMMUNITY CENTER, 75 N 100 W, STERLING, UT. Agenda shall be as follows: Welcome by Mayor Zeb Wignall, Pledge of Allegiance and Roll Call. Discussions/Concerns brought up by community members or council not to be voted on. Discussion and Vote on Adopting an ordinance regulating Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) Discussion and Vote on adopting an ordinance regulating Short Term Rentals (STRs). Discussion and Vote of allowing two firefighters to travel to conduct the final inspection of the new fire truck. Estimated cost per firefighter is $1,600, which includes airfare, lodging, and meals. Discussion and Vote to continue community garden Discussion and vote on candidates for Planning & Zoning Discussion and vote on hiring the new clerk/recorder Discussion and vote on upcoming town cleanup Approval of Minutes from Previous Meeting(s). Report of Officers - Boards - Committees Approval of Payment of Bills Adjournment Items on the agenda (which require no published notice of time) may be considered earlier than shown on the agenda. **Items added to the original agenda which was posted on January 16, 2026 are highlighted in red.
