- HUNTSVILLE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING Thursday, April 16, 2026, Huntsville Town Hall, 7474 E. 200 S. 6:00 p.m. Notice is hereby given that the Huntsville Town Council will hold a Town Council Meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Huntsville Town Hall 7474 E. 200 S. This is a public meeting, and the public is welcome to attend. REGULAR SESSION Welcome - Mayor Sorensen Pledge of Allegiance - by invitation Opening Ceremony - by invitation Public Comments: Residents will be allotted three (3) minutes. Sheriff Report ACTION ITEMS: Discussion and/or action on approval of Minutes for Town Council Meeting March 19, 2026 Discussion and/or action on approval of business license Solar 2 Go LLC Discussion and/or action on approval of Stage Rental for bands at Huntsville Park on May 30th Discussion and/or action on approval of Powder Beach 4th of July Special Event Discussion and/or action on approval of Planning Commission appointment Discussion and/or action on approval of Sage lot 4/5 DA Amendment Discussion and/or action on approval of up to $4,000 for playground chips Discussion and/or action on approval of up to $20,000 for improvements to the green waste facility road Discussion and/or action on approval of up to $10,000 for repair of septic drain field in the park Discussion and/or action on approval of a covered structure at the cemetery Discussion and/or action on approval of Ordinance 2026-04-16 Title 1 General Provisions DEPARTMENT UPDATES: Mayor Richard Sorensen Councilmember Bruce Ahlstrom Councilmember Sandy Hunter Councilmember Lewis Johnson Councilmember Jim Truett Approval of the March Bills ___________________________ DATE:_______________ Town Clerk/Recorder CERTIFICATE OF PASSAGE AND PUBLICATION OR POSTING According to the provision of U.C.A. ยง10-3-713, 1953 as amended, I, the municipal clerk recorder of Huntsville Town, hereby certify that foregoing agenda was duly published, or posted at 1) Town Hall 2) Huntsville Post Office 3) www.huntsvilleutah.gov 4) www.pmn.utah.gov A Closed Session may be called if needed pursuant to State Code 52-4-205. Reasons include A. Discussion of the purchase, exchange, lease, or sale of real property, when public discussion would disclose the value of the property or prevent the authority from completing the transaction on the best possible terms. B. Strategy session to discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual. C. Strategy session to discuss collective bargaining. D. Strategy session regarding pending, or imminent litigation. E. Strategy session to discuss the deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems. F. Discussion of investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct. This meeting may be held electronically to permit one or more of the council members or staff to participate.
