- KANOSH TOWN CORPORATION NOTICE AND AGENDA Kanosh Town Council will hold its regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at the Kanosh Town Hall, located at 55 North Main. Street, Kanosh, Utah WELCOME AND CALL TO ORDER OF REGULAR KANOSH TOWN PUBLIC MEETING *Invocation by Council Member Tim White -Audience invited to participate. *Pledge of Allegiance led by Council Member Josh Whitaker *Approval of minutes from the previous meeting *Approval of payment of warrants for the current meeting CERT: Geri Minton Fire Department: Lorin Shumway, Fire Chief Planning and Zoning: *Building Permits REVIEW, DISCUSSION, AND ACTION ON .... Derek Whitaker & Lacie Ward - report on town project Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Town Clerk Position Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members CIB Project Funding - Possibly adding auto water/electric meters and software to the funding list Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Adopting the 2024 Utah Wildland Urban Interface Code Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Splitting of lots in Kanosh - procedure for approving separation of a lot Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Hayden George - Allowing personal backfilling of ditches/Transfer of liability of abandoned ditch on 100 E Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Town Clean-up Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Canyon Road Stop Signs Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members 24th of July Preparation - Prior years expenses reported to the council Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members America 250 Committee - New members appointed Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Cemetery Bench Permit Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members New Hire - Advertising for cemetery care staff Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Review electrical rates and potentially reset the surcharge based on the review Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Department reviews - Council Report on Departments: i.e. park, cemetery, electrical, roads, & water Utility Delinquency Review Public Comments: (Three Minute Limitation Each) Follow Up on Old Business: *Well Project Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members CLOSED SESSION (if necessary) to DISCUSS one or more of the following: the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; collective bargaining pending or reasonably imminent litigation, the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, the sale of real property, including any form of water rights or water shares, deployment of security personnel devices or systems investigative proceedings regarding allegations of misconduct.
