- NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Hanksville Town council will hold its regularly scheduled Council Meeting in conjunction with a public hearing on the 2nd of April, 2026 At the Hanksville Community Center; meeting shall begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. The agenda shall be as follows: Pledge of Allegiance Prayer Roll Call Approval of Minutes from prior meetings Public Hearing: Neil & Becky Rasmussen - zone change from Agricultural Industrial to Resort Commercial - 11 acre parcel Scott Livingston - zone change from Residential Mixed Use to Resort Commercial New Business: An ordinance adopting the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code Approval of Municipal Wastewater Planning Program Annual Report 2025 Tabled Business Ordinance 2026-01 Sales and Use Tax for Transportation Ordinance 2026-02 Resort Community Tax within Town of Hanksville, Utah at 1.1% Review applications for open town council seat and planning commission seat Public Comment Planning Commission Report Hanksville Tourism Advisory Board Report Report of Officers: Mayor Jeffren T. Pei - Administration, public safety and town buildings Council Member Mona Wells - Outdoor facilities Council Member Robert Gilner - Town roads Council Member Peter Devonshire - Water and Sewer Clerk - Lisa Wells Optional Closed Session will be held pursuant to UCA 52-4-205 to discuss an offer received for Affordable Housing property listed for sale.
