- City Council Agenda January 6, 2026 Third Floor - City Council Work Room, Council Chambers, and via Zoom 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 5:00 p.m. Work Session City Council Work Room January 6, 2026 The purpose of the work session includes presentations and discussions regarding: - Agenda Review for the City Council meeting; - Administrative Update; - Council Business; and - Council Comments. Any items not fully addressed prior to the 6:00 p.m. City Council meeting may be addressed immediately following that meeting. 6:00 p.m. City Council Meeting City Council Chambers January 6, 2026 1. Roll Call. 2. Opening Ceremony: a. Pledge of Allegiance. b. Moment of Silence. c. Acknowledgements. 3. Recognition: a. Brad Mortensen Day. Joint proclamation declaring January 6, 2026 as Brad Mortensen Day in Ogden City. (Adopt joint proclamation - voice vote) 4. Request to be on the Agenda: a. Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Audit Report. (Accept for review - voice vote) b. Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. (Accept for review - voice vote) 5. New Business: a. Election of Council Vice Chair: i. Chair to open nominations for Council Vice Chair. ii. Council Vice Chair candidate(s) comments in order of nomination. iii. Consideration of motion to select Council Vice Chair candidate in order of nomination. (Approve/not approve candidate for Council Vice Chair - roll call vote) b. Administration of Oath of Office for Council Vice Chair. 6. Public Comments. This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding concerns or ideas on any issue or topic. To ensure that the meeting is managed in an orderly and efficient manner, public comments will be limited to three minutes or less per person, as determined by the Council Chair. Participants are to state their names for the record. Comments which cannot be made within the established time limit may be submitted to the City Council Office by email at citycouncil@ogdencity.gov, online at www.ogdencity.com/publicinput, or by voice message at 801-629-8158. 7. Comments: a. Mayor. b. Council members. 8. Adjournment. Continuation of Work Session if Necessary Public meetings will be held in-person at the city offices and electronically via Zoom in accordance with Utah Code Ann. ยง52-4-202 et. seq., Open and Public Meetings Act.
