- Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council Environment System Committee Meeting Tuesday, February 10, 2026; 3:30 P.M. 311 S. State St., Suite 330, SLC, UT 84111 Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council Environment System Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, beginning at approximately 3:30 P.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: the CWC offices located in the Brighton Bank building, 311 S. State Street Ste. 330, Salt Lake City, or virtually by registering at the below link. Please note that after registering, you will receive an email containing a meeting access link. https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_UBmwlVxqQl-L17QHj94e_A Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the above-referenced meeting. The agenda for that meeting of the Committee is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, the anchor location, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments. 3:30 P.M. Opening 1. Chair Kelly Boardman will open the public meeting as Chair of the Environment System Committee of the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council. 2. Review and approval of the minutes of the December 9, 2025 meeting. 3:35 P.M. Visitor Behavior Survey Discussion 1. The committee will discuss current efforts to understand and modify visitor behavior and decide whether to pursue creating a survey to better understand visitor attitudes and associated behaviors. a. If so, the committee will determine potential next steps and timelines. 3:55 P.M. Central Wasatch Dashboard Landing Page Review 1. The committee will review the new landing page for the Central Wasatch Dashboard. 4:05 P.M. Legislative Session Discussion 1. The committee will discuss bills being considered during this legislative session that could impact the Central Wasatch and potential action items. 4:20 P.M. Central Wasatch Symposium Discussion 1. The committee will discuss the recent Central Wasatch Symposium. 4:30 P.M. Committee Updates 1. The committee will discuss the public comment period for the Big Cottonwood Canyon Environmental Assessment. 2. The committee will discuss the proposed permit for a gravel pit in Parleys Canyon. 3. Staff will discuss the status of the Central Wasatch National Conservation and Recreation Area Act (CWNCRA). 4:45 P.M. Next Meeting Agenda 1. The committee will discuss items for the next meeting agenda. 4:50 P.M. Other Items 5:00 P.M. Closing 1.
