- PUBLIC OFFICIALS TRAINING SESSION Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM 1322 EAST STATE ROUTE 9, VIRGIN, UTAH AGENDA OFFICIALS FROM THE TOWNS OF SPRINGDALE, ROCKVILLE, AND VIRGIN WILL ATTEND A JOINT TRAINING SESSION ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2026, AT 10:00 AM AT AUTOCAMP ZION, LOCATED AT 1322 EAST STATE ROUTE 9, VIRGIN, UTAH NO ACTIONS WILL BE TAKEN BY ANY OF THE PUBLIC BODY PARTICIPANTS 10:00 am - 10:15 am: Services offered at Five County Association of Governments (FCAOG) Presenter: Darin Bushman, Director, FCAOG 10:15 am - 10:35 am: Open and Public Meetings Act Training Presenter: Roger Carter 10:35 am - 10:50 am: Ethics Act Training Presenter: Roger Carter 10:50 am - 11:10 am: Funding Sources/Meet Mike Johnson FCAOG Presenter: Mike Johnson 11:10 am - 11:30 am: Data Privacy - How to Protect Your Data Presenter: Krissie Jones (remote) 11:30 am - 11:50 am: Lunch 11:50 am - 12:10 pm: Land Use Legislative Update Presenter: Kevin Smedley FCAOG 12:10 pm - 12:30 pm: How to Make a Proper Motion to Clearly State Your Intentions Presenter: Roger Carter 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm: Q&A with Presenters Session times are approximate. We anticipate the training will last approximately 3 hours. Lunch will be provided for public official attendees. **The public is invited to attend. However, non-official attendees must plan for their own lunch**
