CONSENT AGENDA Approval of check edits list, requisitions, and dispositions Approval of December 16, 2025 Commission Meeting Minutes Approval of out-of-state travel for Sheriff Tyson Huntington to attend the Western States Sheriff's Association Annual Training and Business Conference in Reno, NV Approval to promote Andy Wall to a Deputy Sergeant. Move to Grade 21, effective 1-19-26 Approval to promote Ian Tadehara to Deputy I for successful completion of POST as a Basic Correctional Officer (BCO). Move to Grade 16, effective 1-19-26 Approval to give Zayne Bell a 3% wage increase for successful completion of his 6 month orientation period as a Deputy I and 3% COLA given the first of the year, effective 1-19-26 Discussion Items Items pulled from the consent agenda Presentation by Chris Wood, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources-delivery of PILT Payment and annual update Ratification of signing of USL Memorandum of Agreement to Participate as a partner in USL's Integrated Library System (ILS) Discuss/Approve/Deny Amendment/Modification No. 9 between the Utah Bureau of Land Management and Emery County for law enforcement patrol services, de-obligating Option Year 4 remaining funds in the amount of $23,182.75 Discuss/Approve/Deny Issuance of Level III Conditional Use Permit for the Hornshadow BESS (battery energy storage system) project Discuss/Approve/Deny beginning the process to donate a portion of County owned land to Castle Dale City for an All Abilities Park PUBLIC HEARING: to receive public comment on updates to the Emery County General Plan Discuss/Approve/Deny updates to the Emery County General Plan Discuss/Approve/Deny signing of Letter of intent outlining temporary responsibilities and reimbursements pertaining to the process of procuring a therapy dog for the Emery County Library System Discuss/Approve/Deny allocating funds to be used for a feasibility study at Emery County Sheriff's Office pertaining to housing State Inmates Elected Official Reports Adjourn Any other business that may regularly come before The Board.
