(Title 63, Chapter 2, Utah Code Annotated) Clark Planetarium Advisory Board Agenda Thursday, January 15, 2026 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm Location: Meeting will be Hosted In-Person in the Clark Planetarium Classroom (Lunch will be provided) & virtually via Webex: https://slco.webex.com/slco/j.php?MTID=m5af7989eaa1c6aa80a7b1b92399fa967 Meeting Number (access code): 2484 344 1690 Meeting Password: clark 12:30 pm: Call to Order, Roll Call, and Introduction of Guests - Rod Parker, Chair Public Comments: The Clark Planetarium board will accept public comments regarding Clark Planetarium business in the following formats: - Written comments may be submitted to Clark Planetarium Board of Directors, 110 South 400 West, SLC, UT 84101 no later than two hours prior to the meeting start on the day of the meeting. - Verbal comments of less than two minutes presented directly to the board will be accepted at the beginning of the Clark Planetarium Board Meeting. 12:35 pm: Approval of the November 2025 Minutes & Current Business Discussion - Rod Parker, Chair - Action Required: Vote to approve minutes for November 2025 - No Action Required: Welcome, brief onboarding discussion and possible date selection - No Action Required: Community Needs Assessment and Strategic Master Plan, Donations needed for Board Break and Board Participation for Legislative Family Night, General business items 1:00 pm: Onboarding, Session 1: Hansen Planetarium to Clark Planetarium (A Brief History of Time): Jayceen Craven Walker 1:15 pm: Planetarium Business & Discussion: Durand Johnson, Richard Cox, Anna Marie Tueller, Kunbi Adekunle, Jayceen Craven Walker - November/December Financials and Projections - 2026 Financial & Programmatic Forecast - CAN & SMP report - Attendance and Ticket Trends - Theatres Update - Volunteers needed for legislative family night and board break - No Action Required 1:45 pm Education Report on Holiday Demonstrations: Jason Trump 1:50 pm: Community Programs Update: Anna Swenson, Jason Sills - Community Programs Update - No Action Required 2:00 pm: Adjournment People with disabilities may make requests for reasonable accommodation no later than 48 hours in advance in order to attend this meeting.
