- PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers at 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, commencing at 10:00 a.m. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome- Commissioner Froerer B. Pledge of Allegiance - C. Invocation/Moment of Silence - Commissioner Harvey D. Commissioner Comments- E. Agenda Related Public Comments- (Comments will be taken for items listed on the agenda- please limit comments to 3 minutes) F. Consent Items- 1. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $32,219.37. 2. Request for approval of warrants #105771-105843, #492568-492692 and #464 in the amount of $2,004,668.36. 3. Summary of warrants and purchase orders. 4. Request for approval of minutes for the meeting held on August 19, 2025. 5. Request from the Weber County Garage for approval to surplus vehicles. 6. Request for approval of an amendment of Exposition Center Interlocal Agreement by and between Weber County and Ogden City. 7. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and International Miniature Bull Riding Association to hold the IMBA finals at the Golden Spike Event Center. 8. Request for approval of a Modification of an Agreement by and between Weber County and the U.S. Forest Service regarding patrol of off-highway areas in the Ogden Ranger District of e Uintah-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Weber County. 9. Request for approval of a Memorandum of Understanding by and among the Weber County Sheriff's Office, Weber Housing Authority and Weber Human Services to collaborate in the execution of a permanent supportive housing program to increase the capacity and quality of housing support services in Weber County. 10. Request for approval of a Memorandum of Understanding by and between Weber County Sheriff's Office and HAFB 75th Security Forces Squadron to respond to and handle any violations of state or local law on boundary properties of HAFB and associated facilities. 11. Request for approval of Deputy Sheriff Basic Training Agreements by and between Weber County and the following individuals- Carson Clark Casey Redden Joshua Deromedi Mikaele Barney Jacob Person Griffin Bird Tyson Clark Seth Buxton Dominic Tejada G. Action Items- 1. Canvas- G1A- Request for a motion to adjourn the public meeting and convene as the Board of Canvassers- G1B- Board of Canvassers- Certify the results of the 2025 Primary Election. Request for approval of a resolution of the County Commission of Weber County appointing a trustee to the boards of Mount Ogden Public Infrastructure Districts 1, 2, and 3. Presenter: Stacy Skeen 3. Request for approval of a resolution of the County Commissioners of Weber County appointing a trustee to the board of the Trappers Loop Water Improvement District. Presenter: Stacy Skeen 4. Request for approval of the first reading of an ordinance of the County Commissioners of Weber County updating the Weber County Code of Ordinances to reflect the recent adoption of an increase to the Transient Room Tax Rate.
