- Public Notice The Hurricane City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing during their regular meeting at the Hurricane City Office 147 N 870 West on December 11, 2025 commencing at 6:00 p.m. to take comments on the following: 1. A Zone Change Amendment Request to 7.27 acres located at approx.. 2300 s 1100 w from RA-0.5, residential agriculture one unit per half acre to M-1, light industrial. Parcel number H-3-2-10-3391. 2. A Land Use Amendment Request to Title 10 Chapter 37 Section 10 regarding the definition of front yards on flag lots. 3. A Land Use Amendment Request to Title 10 Chapters 7, 11, and 13 regarding development standards for Single Family Residential R1-4 zones. 4. A Land Use Amendment Request to Title 10 Chapter 6 Section 5 Subsection B.4 regarding the Appeals Board. If you would like to make comments, please plan to attend the meeting or provide written comments to publiccomment@cityofhurricane.com or to the Planning Department at the above address for the Planning Commission's consideration by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting.
