- PUBLIC NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING December 15, 2025, 6:00 PM Description/Agenda NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Grand County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at a Special Meeting on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. or later. The hearing will be held in person at the County Commission Chambers, 125 E. Center St., Moab, UT 84532, and virtually via Zoom. All interested parties are encouraged to plan to attend in person or via electronic means. Instructions on how to participate via Zoom will be provided on the meeting agenda, which will be posted on the County's website at least 24 hours before the meeting. The purpose of this hearing is to solicit public input on a proposed Ordinance Amending the Grand County General Plan to include adoption of a Non-Motorized Trails Master Plan Element as prepared by the Grand County Active Transportation and Trails Department. SUMMARY OF THE ORDINANCE Plain English Summary: The Grand County Active Transportation and Trails Department has written a draft Non-Motorized Trails Master Plan. It is the intent of the Department for both Moab City and Grand County to adopt the plan as a chapter in their General Plans. A complete draft of the proposed ordinance including the proposed Non-Motorized Trails Master Plan itself, is available for review during regular business hours at the Grand County Clerk's office, located at 125 East Center Street, Moab, Utah. Notice was posted within the Grand County limits on this 5th day of December 2025 at the Grand County Courthouse, the Grand County Library and on the Utah Public Notice Website: ww.utah.gov/pmn, and the County's website - www.grandcountyutah.gov. Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA) In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals with special needs who wish to attend County Commission meetings are encouraged to contact the County at least two (2) business days in advance of these events. Specific accommodation necessary to enable the participation of persons with disabilities will be provided to the maximum extent possible. T.D.D.
