- Planning Commission Meeting Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 7:00 pm Planning Commission Meeting for the Town of Genola Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Genola will hold a public meeting in the Public Safety Building located at 455 N. Main on the above date. The meeting will commence at 7:00 p.m. This will be a public meeting where action may be taken on the agenda items. The public is invited to attend the meeting. The Agenda for the meeting will be as follows: Call to Order a. Opening Prayer b. Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes for July 10th and August 7th, 2025 Attachments: August 7th July 10th minutes draft Public Forum Audience members may bring any item, not on the agenda to the Planning Commissions' attention. 15 minute maximum time with a per person limit of 3-5 Minutes at the discretion of the Planning Commission Chair BUSINESS PUBLIC HEARING - M. Lyman Family Properties Proposed Rezone . The purpose of this hearing is to consider a proposed zone change from A-1Agricultural Zone to the R-1 Residential Zone for the property owned M. Lyman Family Properties Parcel #29.017.0002 located at approximately 963 N Main Street in Genola. Motion to open the Public Hearing Motion to close the public hearing Discussion and possible action on a proposed rezone for M. Lyman Family Properties, to consider a proposed zone change from A-1Agricultural Zone to the R-1 Residential Zone for the property located at approximately 963 N Main Street in Genola Parcel #29.017.0002. Attachments: Proposed rezone map - LYMAN Discussion and possible action on a proposed site plan for an accessory building for Tracy & Joe Montez located at approximately 1043 Anna Ekins Memorial Lane in the Ekins Subdivision Plat C Lot 24 Parcel #38.305.0024 Attachments: Montez Site Plan Discussion and possible action on proposed M & D Subdivision owned by Michael and Connie Vail located at approximately 200 South 800 East Parcel #29.035.0171 This agenda item will only be discussed if the subdivision passes at the Development Review Committee Meeting held September 4th at 6pm. Attachments: Preliminary Plat M & D Subdivision Discussion and possible action on a proposed amendment to the Developmental Standards Ordinance Attachments: Proposed amendment to developmental standards PUBLIC HEARING - The purpose of this hearing is to consider changes and updates made to the Development Standards Ordinance including requiring that all septic systems be contained to their own parcel. Motion to open the public hearing Motion to close the public hearing Discussion and possible action on a proposed amendment to the R-1 Zoning Amendment Attachments: Mike Maughan Proposed amendment Proposed R-1 Zoning Amendment Commission Comments Motion to adjourn The Town will provide reasonable accommodations for anyone attending this meeting.
