- TOWN OF ALTA ALTA TOWN COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS November 12, 2025 - 3:45 PM ALTA COMMUNITY CENTER 10351 E HWY 210, ALTA, UTAH 1. The Alta Town Council will hold a public hearing to receive input regarding the Shrontz Estate's Proposal to Rezone a portion of the Patsey Marley Hill property from FR-1 to FM-20 and amend the 2014 Development Agreement. 2. The Alta Town Council will hold a public hearing to receive input on proposed amendments to Town of Alta Code, including: adoption of the 2006 Utah Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Code; designation of a local WUI boundary; and amendments to Titles 8 and 9 to adopt the Wildland Urban Interface Code and allow for defensible space. 3. The Alta Town Council will hold a public hearing to receive input on proposed amendments to Town of Alta Code, including: Section 10-1-8 'Amendments' and Section 10-1-9 'Hearing and Publication of Notice Before Amendment.'. 4. The Alta Town Council will hold a public hearing to receive input regarding the Proposed Amendments to the Fiscal 2025-2026 Budgets. Materials including the rezone petition and draft ordinances are available for review on the Town's website, www.townofalta.utah.gov and in the Town Office at 10201 East Highway 210 during normal business hours. We encourage you to join us in person. This will be a hybrid meeting with virtual meeting instructions on our website: https://townofalta.utah.gov/ Public comment - please note, each person will be able to speak for up to 3 minutes on each item. Written public input can be submitted here: https://townofalta.utah.gov/public-comment-form/ To make a public comment virtually we recommend you notify Brooke Boone via email (brooke@townofalta.utah.gov) in advance of the meeting.
