- PUBLIC NOTICE The Board of Education of Jordan School District will meet in potential closed and study sessions on October 14, 2025 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the JATC South Campus (Board Conference Room), 12723 S. Park Avenue (2080 West), Riverton, Utah. Patrons may view the meeting online at https://boardmeeting.jordandistrict.org/. AGENDA October 14, 2025 1. STUDY SESSION - OPEN MEETING - 4:00 p.m. The Board may engage in discussion, provide administrative direction, or take other action on any of the study session agenda items listed below. A. USBA Leadership Academy Debrief Ms. Niki George, Board President Discussion on information gathered by Board members at the recent USBA Leadership Academy. Strategic Plan Pillar: High Quality Instruction; Effective Communication Desired Outcome: Board members will discuss and share information from the conference; information only. B. Substitutes for Extended Counselor Absences Dr. Anthony Godfrey, Superintendent of Schools Discussion on the possibility of a substitute for a counselor who will be gone for 10 or more consecutive days. Strategic Plan Pillars: Opportunities for All Learners; Student and Staff Wellness Desired Outcome: Direction to staff regarding potential staffing for substitute counselors. C. Enrollment Forecast and Housing Continuum Discussion Dr. Michael Anderson, Associate Superintendent Mr. Travis Hamblin, Director, Student Services Mr. Scott Festin, Planning Consultant, Student Services Report on current and forecasted enrollment numbers to assist in planning for future school needs. Strategic Plan Pillars: High Quality Instruction; Culture of Belonging; Opportunities for All Learners Desired Outcome: Information to the Board with direction to staff for planning future housing needs. D. Survey Results for Potential Boundary Changes Dr. Michael Anderson, Associate Superintendent Review of the survey results for boundary changes affecting the Midas Creek Elementary School area and the Northwest Area of the District. Strategic Plan Pillars: High Quality Instruction; Culture of Belonging; Opportunities for All Learners Desired Outcome: Board members will hold discussion on the survey results with direction for next steps. E. Board and Superintendent Reports and Comments Board members and the Superintendent may report on Board Advisory Committees as well as Board, District or Community Affiliated Committees to which they are appointed. 1) Facilities Advisory Committee - Brian W.
