- City Council & Board of Canvassers Agenda August 26, 2025 Third Floor - City Council Work Room, City Council Chambers, and via Zoom 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 4:00 p.m. Work Session City Council Work Room August 26, 2025 The purpose of the work session includes presentations and discussions regarding: - Agenda review for the City Council meeting; City Council - Proposed Rezone - 853 7th Street; - Proposed West Ogden/24th Street Interchange District Plan; - Proposed Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Budget Amendment - Property, Police Vehicles, and State Grant Funds; - Administrative Update; - Council Business; and - Council Comments. Any items not fully addressed prior to the 6:00 p.m. City Council meeting may be addressed immediately following that meeting. 5:55 p.m. Board of Canvassers City Council Chambers August 26, 2025 1. Roll Call. 2. Opening Ceremony: a. Pledge of Allegiance. b. Moment of Silence c. Acknowledgements. 3. 2025 Municipal Primary Election. Consideration of certifying the August 12, 2025, Municipal Primary Election results. (Certify/not certify results - voice vote) 4. Adjournment. 6:00 p.m. City Council Meeting City Council Chambers August 26, 2025 1. Roll Call. 2. Approval of Minutes: a. Closed session of May 20, 2025 - Council member Blair 3. Reports from Administration: a. Proposed Ogden Municipal Code Title 10 Amendments - Enforcement of Motor Vehicle Statues on Ogden School Property. Proposed Ordinance 2025-27 revising provisions to the Ogden City Motor Vehicle Statutes. (Adopt/not adopt ordinance - roll call vote) 4. Public Comments. This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding concerns or ideas on any topic. To be considerate of everyone at this meeting, public comment will be limited to three minutes per person. Participants are to state their name for the record. Comments which cannot be made within these limits should be submitted in writing to the City Council Office (citycouncil@ogdencity.com). The Council encourages civil discourse for everyone who participates in our meetings. Comments pertaining to an agenda item that includes a public hearing should be given during the meeting as that item is discussed. 5. Comments: a. Mayor. b. Council members. 6. Adjournment.
