- Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council Transportation System Committee Meeting Monday, October 20, 2025; 11:30 A.M. 311 S. State St., Suite 330, SLC, UT 84111 Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council Transportation System Committee will hold a meeting on Monday, October 20, 2025, beginning at approximately 11:30 A.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: the CWC offices located in the Brighton Bank building, 311 S. State Street Ste. 330, Salt Lake City, or virtually by registering at the below link. Please note that after registering, you will receive an email containing a meeting access link. https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAlduiuqzIpGNDLDWkou0SCUF0q6P9XgSdZ Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the above-referenced meeting. The agenda for that meeting of the Committee is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, the anchor location, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments. 11:30 A.M. Opening 1. Chair Danny Richardson will open the public meeting as Chair of the Transportation System Committee of the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council. 2. Review and approval of the minutes of the September 15, 2025 meeting. 11:35 A.M. Rental Agency Letter Follow-up 1. The committee will discuss next steps for its letter to car rental agencies. 11:45 A.M. Committee Updates 1. Updates on the Little Cottonwood Canyon Environmental Impact Statements and related litigation. 2. Updates on Wasatch Transit Solutions. 3. Updates on the Millcreek Canyon Shuttle Feasibility Study. 11:55 A.M. Transportation and Transit in Little Cottonwood Canyon 1. The committee will consider potential support of and further action on topics pertaining to Little Cottonwood Canyon: a. Enhanced bus service. b. Cog rail. 12:15 P.M. Board Resolution Opposing Rescission of the Roadless Rule 1. The committee will discuss the CWC Board's recent resolution opposing the rescission of the Roadless Rule. 12:25 P.M. Meeting Recap and Next Meeting Agenda 1. The committee will review any action items that have been decided upon for the next meeting. 2. The committee will discuss topics for the next meeting agenda. 12:30 P.M. Other Items 1. The committee may discuss other items as desired. 1:00 P.M. Closing 1.
