- Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Genola will hold a public meeting in the public safety building located at 455 N. Main on the above date. The Council meeting will commence at 7:00 p.m. This will be a public meeting where action may be taken on the agenda items. The agenda for the Council meeting will be as follows: 1. Call to Order a. Opening Prayer b. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Discussion and possible action with concerned citizens from Genola and surrounding areas focusing on current and potential future operations and address concerns about dust control, as well as its short and long term effects on agriculture and public health and safety. a. Jaida Renzello - 10 minutes b. Dale Steele - 10 minutes c. Sheryl Fowers - 10 minutes d. Brendan Jackson - 10 minutes e. Discussion with visitors 3. Approval of Minutes for August 20th and September 17th, 2025. 4. Approval of Expenditures Total Expenditures: $ 40,826.41 Bankcard Center: $ 3,681.42 Best Deal Containers LLC: $ 4,800.00 Chemtech Ford: $ 2,026.00 Interwest Safety Supply Inc: $ 1,189.95 Peace of Mind Law: $ 5,425.00 Rocky Mountain Power: $ 4,412.46 Santaquin City: $ 18,548.79 Utah State Treasurer: $ 742.79 5. Approval of Work Orders None 6. Commission & Staff Reports - Police Chief Report - Fire Chief Report - Planning Commission Report Public Forum Audience members are invited to address the Council with any concerns they may have. Each resident will have 3 minutes to express their thoughts. The Council will allow you to finish speaking before providing any response, ensuring that your time is respected. Please note that a maximum of 5 residents can sign up to participate in the public forum. State Law prohibits the Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. New Business 7. Discussion and possible action regarding an amended contract with American Towers. 8. Discussion and possible action on the new public works building floor plan. 9. Council Comments Mayor Neil Brown, Councilmember Grant Lundberg, Councilmember Eric Hazelet, Councilmember Curtis Thomas, Councilmember Brenan Jackson 10. Motion to Adjourn The Town Council may exercise its right under Utah Code Annotated, 52-4-207, to convene and conduct an electronic meeting. Closed Session: Utah Code Annotated, 52-4-205: (May be called to discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual. To discuss the pending or reasonably imminent litigation, and/or purchase, exchange, or lease of real property) The Town will provide reasonable accommodations for anyone attending this meeting.
