- Wallsburg Town Council - PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Thursday October 9, 2025 7:00PM RE: Wallsburg Town Water System Proposed Rate Changes Public Notice is hereby given that the WALLSBURG TOWN COUNCIL will hold a public hearing on Thursday October 9, 2025 starting at 7:00pm at the Wallsburg Town Hall, 70 West Main Canyon Road in Wallsburg, Utah. The purpose is to hear public comment and answer questions regarding proposed water system rate changes. All interested persons may attend. Wallsburg Town Council will deliberate and vote on the matter at the Town Council meeting directly following the close of the public hearing. Written comments for consideration by Wallsburg Town may be submitted via mail (PO Box 52 Wallsburg, UT 84082) or email (clerk@wallsburg.gov) through Monday October 6, 2025. CURRENT RATES Base Rate $70 Per Month 0 - 5,000 Gallons Tier 2 $2.00 Per Thousand Gallons 5,001 - 10,000 Gallons Tier 3 $2.50 Per Thousand Gallons 10,001 + Gallons Maintenance Fee $5 Per Month Connections in Town limits Maintenance Fee $10 Per Month Connections out of Town limits Late Fee $5 Per Month Applied after non payment PROPOSED CHANGES Base Rate in Town limits $80 Per Month 0 - 5,000 Gallons Base Rate out of Town limits $85 Per Month 0 - 5,000 Gallons Tier 2 $2.50 Per Thousand Gallons 5,001 - 10,000 Gallons Tier 3 $3.00 Per Thousand Gallons 10,001 + Gallons Maintenance Fees Included in Base Rate Connections in and out of Town limits Late Fee $25 Per Month Applied on the 1st of each month, to all accounts that balance is not paid in full The Wasatch Wave Newspaper is no longer in print, so public notice of this hearing was posted as a Class A notice as according to Utah State Code 63G-30-102. Posted 9/19/2025 online at the Utah Public Notice Website, on www.wallsburg.gov, at the Wallsburg Town Hall, Wallsburg Town Post Office, and mailed to Wallsburg Town Water System customers.
