- WALLSBURG TOWN COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026 BUDGET AMENDMENT October 9, 2025 - 7 pm 1. Call to Order Expected 7:00 pm a. Roll Call 2. Agenda Item: The purpose of this public hearing is to hear public comment and answer questions regarding proposed water system rate changes. All interested persons may attend. Wallsburg Town Council will deliberate and vote on the matter at the Town Council meeting directly following the close of the public hearing. *The Wasatch Wave Newspaper is no longer in print, so public notice of this hearing was posted as a Class A notice as according to Utah State Code 63G-30-102. Posted 9/19/2025 online at the Utah Public Notice Website, on www.wallsburg.gov, at the Wallsburg Town Hall, Wallsburg Town Post Office, and mailed to Wallsburg Town Water System customers.* 3. Prayer/Inspiration Thought c. Roll Call 2. Consent Calendar: Be it hereby moved that the following consent calendar items stand approved: a. Agenda of the October 9, 2025 Town Council Meeting b. Minutes of the September 4, 2025 Town Council Meeting 3. Approve Budget a. Corrected August Budget, September Budget and check register b. September Budget and check register questions 4. Public Comment (5 minutes): This is the public's opportunity to comment on items that are NOT on the agenda. Please come up to the table, state your name and address before making a comment, and speak loudly to assure comments are recorded properly. If you have specific questions or comments regarding items that ARE on the agenda, please contact the Wallsburg Town Council or Clerk after the meeting has adjourned. 5. Agenda Items: a. Main Canyon Road Project, CDBG Application Updates - Information and Discussion Only i. Troy Ostler (CivCo Engineering) will discuss status of Main Canyon Road Phase II & 2025 CDBG applications b. Town Hall Rental Fee Reduction or Waiver Request - Action Item i. RVLA would like to discuss a fee reduction or waiver for their kids business fair scheduled for December 2025 c. Fiscal Year 2024/2025 Audit Reports - Action Item i. Vote to accept audit reports presented by Larson & Company at the September 4th 2025 Town Council Meeting. d. Adopt Updated Fee Schedule - Action Item i. Vote to adopt by resolution updated fee schedule, including changes to water rates if applicable e. 2025-2026 Snowplow Agreement - Action Item i. Vote to accept snowplowing agreement with Wasatch County f. 2025 Municipal Election Cancellation - Action Item i. NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF WALLSBURG TOWN 2025 MUNICIPAL ELECTION Notice is hereby given that declared candidate Elliot Anderson has filed a candidate withdrawal form with the Wallsburg Town Clerk on October 6th 2025. Effectively, Wallsburg Town hereby cancels its Municipal General Election scheduled for November 4, 2025. Cancellation is pursuant to Utah State Code 20A-1-206.2 to cancel a local election: The ballot for the local election would not include and contested races or ballot propositions and the candidates who qualified for the ballot are considered elected. The following candidates will be sworn in on January 1, 2026 to serve their term: Terri A Eisel, Wallsburg Town Council Member, 4-year term Peter J Nielsen, Wallsburg Town Council Member, 4-year term Rohn Hortin, Wallsburg Town Council Member, 2-year term. NOTE : as verified with the Wasatch County Clerk, this candidate withdrawal was filed after ballots for the 2025 Wallsburg Town Municipal Election have been printed and mailed out. Registered voters of Wallsburg Town, please disregard any ballots for the 2025 Wallsburg Town Municipal Election. ii. Vote to adopt Resolution 2025-12 to cancel Wallsburg Town 2025 Municipal Election 6. Department Reports a. To discuss continued agenda items, assignments i.
