- WALLSBURG TOWN COUNCIL MONTHLY MEETING AGENDA September 4, 2025 - 7:00pm 1. Call to Order Expected 7:00 pm a. Pledge of Allegiance b. Prayer/Inspiration Thought c. Roll Call 2. Consent Calendar: Be it hereby moved that the following consent calendar items stand approved: a. Agenda of the September 4, 2025 Town Council Meeting b. Minutes of the August 7, 2025 Town Council Meeting 3. Approve Budget a. June, July, and August Budget and check register b. June, July, and August Budget and check register questions 4. Public Comment (5 minutes): This is the public's opportunity to comment on items that are NOT on the agenda. Please come up to the table, state your name and address before making a comment, and speak loudly to assure comments are recorded properly. If you have specific questions or comments regarding items that ARE on the agenda, please contact the Wallsburg Town Council or Clerk after the meeting has adjourned. 5. Agenda Items: a. Fraud Risk Assessment for Fiscal Year 2025 (July 1 2024 through June 30 2025) - Action Item i. Review Fraud Risk Assessment for Fiscal Year 2025 and vote to approve or continue for further discussion. b. Fiscal Year 2025 (July 1 2024 through June 30 2025) Singe Audit Report - Information and Discussion Only i. Jon Haderlie with Larson and Company will report on the single audit conducted for Fiscal Year 2025 c. Main Canyon Road Project, CDBG Application Updates - Information and Discussion Only i. Troy Ostler (CivCo Engineering) will discuss status of Main Canyon Road Phase II & 2025 CDBG applications d. Building Permit Application - Action Item i. Vote to accept recommendation from Wallsburg Town Planning Commission to issue a building permit approval letter to Bill and Heidi Mark for an addition to their home at 15 East 100 North or continue this item to a future meeting for further consideration. e. 24th of July and Kids Summer Activities Recap - Information and Discussion Only i. Discuss 24th of July Celebration and Kids Summer Activities at the Park. f. Appoint CAO and Records Officer for Wallsburg Town's Data Privacy Program - Action Item i. In compliance with govt data privacy act, Wallsburg Town will vote to appoint Mayor Celeni Richins as CAO and Town Clerk Alisha O'Driscoll as Records officer for Wallsburg Town's Data Privacy Program. 6. Department Reports a. To discuss continued agenda items, assignments i. Buildings (Scott Larsen) *Sprinkler System Project Update ii. Roads (Scott Larsen) iii. Cemetery (Mary Piscitelli) iv. Park (Terri Eisel) v. Water (Rohn Hortin) *Water Project Update vi. Mayor (Celeni Richins) vii. Clerk (Alisha O'Driscoll) b. Call for Agenda items for September Town Council Work Meeting (Expected September 18, 2025) c. Call for Agenda items for October Town Council Meeting (Expected October 9, 2025) **NOTE: 2nd Thursday in October, not the 1st 7. Adjourn a. Time
