- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE SALT LAKE CITY SALT LAKE CITY is proposing a one time tax levy to pay for a final and unappealable judgement or order to refund property tax to a taxpayer(s). The total amount required to be collected to refund the tax is $579,167 The tax impact on a $675,000 residence will be $4.08 for one year. The tax impact on a $675,000 business will be $7.43 for one year. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase. PUBIC HEARING Date/Time: 8/19/2025 7 pm Location: City and County Building - 451 South State Street, Room 315, Salt Lake City To obtain more information regarding the tax increase, citizens may contact SALT LAKE CITY at 801-535-7600.
