- NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Eureka City Council will hold their Regular Council Meeting on Monday, August 25, 2025, Meeting will begin at 7:00 pm, 15 North Church Street, Eureka, Utah. Residents that would like to address the Council must submit their questions or concern in writing to the City Office at least 3 hours prior to the meeting. Written comments, which will be read into public record, may be submitted via email eurekacity@eureka.utah.gov. The agenda shall be as follows: 7:00 pm PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. ROLL CALL. 7:10 pm DISCUSSION ITEMS/ACTION ITEMS. 1. Discussion and Decision on Truth in Taxation Hearing. 2. Unfinished Business. 3. Jesica Severa, Chamber of Commerce - Halloween Event. Request Waiver of Special Event Fee and Help with Porta-Potty's. 4. B.P.O.E. Elks - Request for Local Consent for Alcohol Sales at Cornhole Event in Mid-October. 5. Re-Canvass of 2025 Primary Election Returns. 6. Approval of Ordinance No. 2025-08-25-25, Amending Section 13.5.4 Business-Commercial (BC) Zone to Allow Short-Term Rentals in Business/Commercial Zone. 7. Shay Morrison R6 Community Advisor. 8. Dan Fechner - Jones & DeMille. 9. Fill Station. 10. Discussion for Future Meetings. 8:00 pm CITIZEN COMMENTS.
