- WALES TOWN COUNCIL Notice and Agenda Notice is hereby given that the Wales Town Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the Wales Town Hall, which meeting shall begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Agenda items may or may not be discussed in the order they are listed. The agenda shall be as follows: Rollcall Pledge of Allegiance Prayer/Inspirational Thought Approval of minutes for meeting held on March 7, 2023 Approval for payment of March 2023 invoices Business & Petitions (items to be voted upon) 1. Gary Keddington, CPA--proposal Open Discussions: (5 minutes each) 1. Sunrise Engineering: report on south well. fencing/road 2. Lynn Wall Engineering-water study report (Lee Fox) 3. Wales Town budget 2023-2024 4. Wales Water budget 2023-2024; water rates 5. Sand and sandbags are available at old fire station Reports of town officers and boards Mayor Byron Davis: Water--Council member Brandon Rees Roads--Council member David Larsen Oil roads need sealed-met with Peckhams Cemetery--Council member Ron Thompson Parks--Council member Edward Anderson Fire Dept.--Shawn Robison Administration--Kevin Washburn, Erika Anderson Welsh Days scheduled for June 23,24 2023 Animal clinic-will schedule for a Saturday in July Other items of discussion from town citizens or visitors (3 minutes each) Adjourn: Residents who wish to address the town council on any observations or problems concerning Wales Town will be given three (3) minutes to speak. Additional time will be allowed at the discretion of the Mayor and Town Board. No decision will be made unless said citizen arranges for time on the agenda at least five (5) business days prior to the town council meeting. Town council meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month. Mayor: Byron L. Davis I, Kevin E.
