- PARK CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION Park City School District Office 2700 Kearns Boulevard September 16, 2025 Regular Session 4:00 p.m. Additional information is available the Monday before each meeting at: http://www.boarddocs.com/ut/pcsd/Board.nsf/public Time allocated to each agenda item is approximate and subject to change. The Board may vote to meet in closed session for any of the purposes set forth in Section 52-4-205 of Utah's Open and Public Meetings Act Board members may participate by telephone. AGENDA 1 Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance 2 Discussion 2.1 Facility Updates JD Simmons, Sr. Project Manager with MOCA will provide an update on all district facilities. 2.2 Teacher of the Year Park City School District employee Joanna Andres, Teacher of the Year, will introduce herself to the Board and share expectations for her year of service as Utah's 2026 Teacher of the Year. 2.3 Park City Education Foundation MOU Director, Ingrid Whitley will present key points from the draft MOU, then provide time for clarifying questions. 2.4 Open Enrollment Update Dr. Carolyn Synan, Executive Director of Student Services will provide an overview of the open enrollment numbers for the year. 2.5 Calendar Committee Update Superintendent Huntsman will share information from the Calendar Committee. 2.6 Board Retreat Recap Superintendent Huntsman will provide a recap of the Board Retreat that took place last month. 2.7 Board Committee Assignments The Board will review committee assignments and make any necessary adjustments 3 Consent Agenda Regular Session Minutes of August 19, 2025 Special Session (Board Retreat) Minutes of August 29, 2025 Travel Requests LEA Specific Licensed Employees Approval of Standing Purchase Orders Approval of Emergency Procurement Personnel Check Registers of August 2025 Board Revenue and Expenditures of August 2025 4 Public Comment (5:00 PM) The Board of Education wants to hear live input from community members at our meetings. In order to respect and preserve the time allotted to each presenter on the agenda, each speaker will be limited to three (3) minutes. Speakers representing a group will be limited to five (5) minutes. 5 Monthly Reports Monthly reports will include relevant district level reports in addition to: Student on the Board Employee Group Reports Superintendent Report 6 Policies for Posting The following policies have been reviewed by the Policy Committee and they are now before the Board for posting. Policy 1007 Environmental Regulation Plan Policy 3013 Bullying, Cyber-Bullying Policy 3014 Recording of Meetings (New Policy) Policy 5005 Building Access and Security Policy 7021 Clothing Allowance (New Policy) Policy 9065 Volunteers in the Schools 7 Policies for Adoption The following policies have been posted for the required 20-days, and are now before the Board for adoption. Policy 10090 Prohibition of Corporal Punishment 8 Adjourn Notice: This meeting will be recorded (video and audio) and made available for one year on the district website (www.pcschools.us).
