Kaneplex Drive Kanab, Utah 84741 6:00 PM REGULAR BOARD MEETING WELCOME PUBLIC, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE and OPENING PRAYER Roll Call Board Members 6:05 PM 1. Minutes a. Approval of Minutes of the August 14th, 2025 Board of Trustees Meeting b. LeGrand Bittner-Update on Special Service District statute policies for KCWCD Board and Staff (30 min) 6:45 PM 2. Jackson Flat Reservoir and Kanab Irrigation Company Coordination a. Reservoir Recreation and Operational Report-Mike c. U.S Parks Service water contract- Dragon Bravo Fire Mike 7:00 PM 3. Johnson Canyon Well Project Public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Bonds and any potential economic impact to the private sector from the acquisition of the Project to be funded by the Bonds for financing the construction of, equipping and connecting the Johnson Canyon well, transmission line and pump station building to the Issuer's culinary water system. Review new revenues received, including tax revenues and revenues for ongoing project 8:10 PM 7. Director's Report: a. Closed Session (Legal strategies on EIS) - Cove Reservoir Noel b. Board Member Issues - Policy #304 Review c. Overview of current KCWCD overall health, including staffing, infrastructure, financial stability etc. from Mike's perspective Request for Vote of Confidence from the board for Mike to continue as Director though FY 2025/2026 d. Next Meeting Date: October 9th, 2025, 6:00 PM @ Kane County Water Conservancy District Office. All agenda item times are approximate.
