- NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING Wednesday, August 13, 2025 7:00 PM Opening Ceremonies Welcome: Councilman Wilber conducting Pledge of Allegiance Invocation: By Invitation * The agenda shall be as follows: (The order of the agenda items may change.) 1. Public Comments a. Time set aside for the council to receive public comments on matters not listed on the agenda- See Notes 2. Discussion and Action Items a. Barclay kid's request for 2025 sponsorship of their livestock animals b. GVHS request for renewal of extra-curricular support in the amount of $150 c. Drake Schlappi request for fence partnership as adjoining property owner d. Vearl Albert Christiansen request for further consideration of annexation petition e. Presentation from Ensign Engineering and possible approval of setting impact fees for parks and roads. f. Discussion and approval of plat amendment to Phase IV of Mayfield Estates g. Approval of Resolution 2025-G A Resolution of the Town Council of Mayfield Town Submitting to the Qualified Electors of Mayfield Town a Proposition to Reauthorize the Local Recreational, Arts, and Parks (RAP) Sales and Use Tax Pursuant to Utah Code § 59-12-1402; and Related Matters h. Consideration of approving Eldon & Karen Olsen request to purchase additional graves 3. Council Business a. Department Reports i. Krista Dutton- Discussion of 250 years of America celebration ii. Review and approval of Claims- Invoices from the register dated 07-10-2025 thru 08-13-2025. iii. Review and approval of Minutes- Regular meeting July 9, 2025. 4. Unfinished Business a. Discussion and possible approval of follow-up on Ordinance Violations 5. Adjourn Notes: Public Comment-Members of the public may address the Town Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Everyone will have up to two minutes to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comments at this time. At the conclusion of each public comment, the Council may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All Town Council meetings are recorded. The Council may vote to discuss certain matters in closed session pursuant to the Utah Code annotated 52-4-5 (to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation or the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual, or acquisition of property). Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. §§ 52-4-207 et. seq., Open and Public Meetings Act some of the Town Council and public may appear electronically. Prior arrangements must be made by contacting the Town Clerk at least 24 hrs in advance. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons requesting accommodations for Town sponsored public meetings, services, programs, or events should call the Town Hall at 435-528-5061, giving at least 48 hours' notice. CERTIFICATE OF POSTING The undersigned, duly appointed Town Recorder of Mayfield Town does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda was posted to the Utah Public Notice Website www.publicnotice.utah.gov and in three public places within the Mayfield Town limits.
