Date: April 4, 2023 3:00 P.M. Location: Emery County Administration Building 75 E Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah Emery County Board of Commissioners: Lynn Sitterud, Chairman Jordan Leonard Keven Jensen -Pledge of Allegiance/ Invocation- (Note to the public: The consent agenda consists of item(s) that are considered to be routine in nature and will be enacted in the form of one motion. Any items can be removed from the consent agenda and heard in its regular order at the request of any commissioner.) CONSENT AGENDA Items to be pulled for discussion by the Board will be placed first on the list of discussion items. All other consent agenda items will be approved in one motion. Approval of check edit list, requisitions, and dispositions. Approval of the March 21, 2023 Commission Meeting Minutes. NOTIFICATION Selected Acelyn Migliori, Alexa Bulleri, and Purity Mason as part time Lifeguards working up to 19.75 hours per week. Wage Grade 3 @ $8.56 ph. NOTIFICATION Selected Devin Olsen as a Seasonal Lawn Care Laborer working 29 hours per week. Wage $14.70 ph. Discussion Items Items that require discussion before approval by motion. Items pulled from the consent agenda. Discuss/Approve/Deny Emery County Sheriff's Office application for the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) for the July 2023-June 2024 Period of Performance. Discuss/Approve/Deny agreement between Emery County and medical providers Lowell Morris, PA-C; Dalen Johnson, NP; and Cameron S. Williams, M.D. for Emery County Jail Inmate medical care. Acceptance of award of grant funds from the Utah State Fire Marshal's Office - Hazmat Section to Emery County ELPC in the amount of $3,200.00 Approval to advertise accepting bids for the scrap metal pile at the Emery County Landfill. Discuss/Approve/Deny request to reallocate capital expenditure money in the amount of $30,000.00 to re-surface three outdoor slides at the Emery County Aquatic Center. Discuss/Approve/Deny Commission adjustments for back taxes on parcel #06-0115-0009 and 06-0115-0010 which were deeded to Emery Town in 2020 and should be exempt. Discuss/Approve/Deny deferral agreement for Ginger Geiser, for and on behalf of Jack D. Geiser and Ginger Ann Geiser, on parcel #01-0255-0067 for the payment of real property taxes that are five (5) years past due. Commission/Elected Officials Reports. Adjourn.
