- The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting August 26, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah. Welcome --Mayor 1. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer- 2. Roll Call - City Recorder 3. Approval of Claims and Requisitions - Mayor Claims Register: Dated 08/09/2025 to 08/22/2025 in the amount of $257,224.95 Requisitions as needed. 4. Approval of Minutes - Mayor August 12, 2025, Regular City Council 5. Request for Council Consideration of Easement Use Related to Development- Steve Johansen 6. Follow up on the consideration of a Request for an Outside City Water Connection - Casey Larsen 7. Veteran's Memorial Fund Balance $50,493.14 - Dave Oxman 8. Approval of Adopting Library Tax and Mt. Pleasant City Tax Increase- Dave Oxman 9. Public Participation Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door prior to the start of the meeting. Participation is limited to three minutes. Each participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda.
