- HUNTSVILLE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING Thursday, August 7, 2025, Huntsville Town Hall, 7474 E. 200 S. 6:00 p.m. Notice is hereby given that the Huntsville Town Council will hold a Town Council Meeting on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Huntsville Town Hall 7474 E. 200 S. This is a public meeting, and the public is welcome to attend. REGULAR SESSION Welcome - Mayor Richard Sorensen Pledge of Allegiance - by invitation Opening Ceremony - Bruce Ahlstrom Public Comments: Residents will be allotted three (3) minutes. Sheriff Report ACTION ITEMS: Discussion and/or action on approval of Minutes for Town Council Meeting July 17, 2025 Discussion and/or action on approval of Minutes for Work Session July 31, 2025 Discussion and/or action on the culinary water system status Discussion and/or action on approval of Zion's Bank Study on Water Rates Discussion and/or action on approval of water forgiveness at 6675 E. 200 N. Discussion and/or action on approval of Resolution 2025-8-7 Contract for Jared Anderson Discussion and/or action on approval of $3,500 for a water pump for the cemetery. Discussion and/or action on approval of $40,000 for road work. Reasons include A. Discussion of the purchase, exchange, lease, or sale of real property, when public discussion would disclose the value of the property or prevent the authority from completing the transaction on the best possible terms. B. Strategy session to discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual. C. Strategy session to discuss collective bargaining. D. Strategy session regarding pending, or imminent litigation. E. Strategy session to discuss the deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems. F. Discussion of investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct. This meeting may be held electronically to permit one or more of the council members or staff to participate.
