- COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) SECOND PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Five County Association of Governments will hold a public hearing to discuss the project determined to be applied for in the CDBG Small Cities Program in Program Year 2023, for the CDBG Grant Administration and Community Planning Grants. Comments will be solicited on project scope, implementation, and its effects on residents. The CDBG public hearing is being held in conjunction with the Steering Committee meeting of the Association. The Steering Committee is the Association's governing board. The Steering Committee meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. MDT on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in Cedar City, at the Festival Hall (Combined Rooms 5 and 6) located at 96 N. Main St., Cedar City, Utah. The public hearing itself will begin shortly thereafter. Further information on the hearing can be obtained by contacting Mr. Cody Christensen, Associate Planner and CDBG Program Specialist at the Association, at 435-673-3548 ext. 165. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this hearing should notify Mr. Gary Zabriskie, Deputy Director at the Association, at least three business days prior to the hearing at 435-673-3548 ext. 126. Individuals with speech and, or, hearing impairments may call the Relay Utah by dialing 711. Spanish Relay Utah: 1.888.346.3162. This notice was published here on the Utah Public Meeting Notice website on March 27, 2023, as well as published in The Spectrum newspaper.
