APPROVAL OF CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT FROM: JULY 28, 2025 TO AUGUST 10, 2025 10:00 A.M PUBLIC APPOINTMENT 1. PUBLIC COMMENTS Three (3) Minute Time Limit per Speaker for Public Comment Participants. Should Not Repeat Others Comments. Only for Items Not on the Agenda. No Items Related to Commission's Role as an Appeal Board. Comments Should Be Directed to the Commission. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE APPROVAL OF A LOCAL CONSENT FOR A SINGLE EVENT PERMIT FOR MOONLIT CANYON MASQUERADE GALA TO BE HELD ON OCTOBER 4, 2025 AT THE IRON SPRINGS RESORT. Requested by Canyon Creek Services. 3. RATIFICATION OF A LOCAL CONSENT FOR A SINGLE EVENT PERMIT FOR RED ACRES CENTER, UTAH WINE FESTIVAL TERRIOR TO TABLE DINNER HELD ON AUGUST 30, 2025. Requested by Red Acres. 4. PRESENTATION BY THE PAROWAN PREVENTION COALITION ON THE FISCAL BUDGET. Presented by Southwest Behavioral Health - BreAnn Veater, Parowan Prevention Coalition. 5. DISCUSSION AND PERMISSION APPROVAL TO USE COUNTY ANTELOPE ROAD AND CLOSE COMSTOCK ROAD FOR AN OFF-ROAD EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2025. Requested by Donald Jackson, Legacy Racing Association, LLC. 6. DISCUSSION, PRESENTATION, AND REQUESTING SUPPORT, THE CONSERVATION FUND (TCF) WOULD LIKE TO PRESENT A CONSERVATION EASEMENT PROJECT WHICH TCP IS CURRENTLY WORKING TO COMPLETE ON THE PACE FAMILY RANCH. Requested by Gavin Kakol. 7. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE APPROVAL OF A RIGHT OF WAY AND EASEMENT GRANT WITH QUESTAR GAS COMPANY DBA ENBRIDGE GAS UTAH. Presented by Rich Wilson. 8. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE APPROVAL OF A POLICY FOR MORE SMOKE AND VAPE FREE SIGNAGE AT THE IRON COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS. Requested by Iron County Teens Against Drugs. 9. UPDATE ON THE IRON SPRINGS INLAND PORT. Presented by Danny Stewart. 10. PERSONNEL 1. SHERIFF OFFICE - CORRECTIONS A. Request for approval of promotion of Kaitlyn Lacy from a Medical Deputy 2 to a Medical Deputy 3 effective August 17th, 2025. B. Request for approval of new-hire, Fernando Gomez as a F/T Corrections Deputy 1, backfill of a vacant position, effective August 31st, 2025. 2. SHERIFF'S - PATROL A. Request for approval of new-hire, TBD as a P/T Patrol Reserve Deputy, backfill of a vacant position, effective August 18th, 2025. B. Request for approval of new-hire, TBD as a P/T Patrol Reserve Deputy, backfill of an upcoming retirement position, effective August 18th, 2025. 3. CLERK A. Request for approval of new-hire, Marissa Condie as a F/T Deputy Clerk, backfill of a vacant position, effective September 2nd, 2025. 4. ATTORNEY A.
