- The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has initiated a project to improve safety at the US89/91 and SR-23 (Center Street) intersection in Wellsville, Utah. Proposed improvements include the construction of a Restricted Crossing U-Turn intersection (RCUT). UDOT is holding a public hearing to provide an outline of recommended improvements and benefits, a summary of environmental resources reviewed, and an opportunity to submit written or verbal comments and ask UDOT questions. The meeting will be an open-house format with no formal presentation provided. In-Person Public Hearing (open house format): Wednesday, July 30, 2025, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the Wellsville City Offices, 75 East Main Street, Wellsville, UT 84339. A public comment period will be open from Wednesday, July 30, through Monday, August 11, 2025.
